Patrick Bubien is the owner of Guitarification Custom Guitars & Basses in Fallbrook, California. He is a master woodworker and luthier who first realized his distinctive talent at age 15, designing and building custom electric guitars before he had graduated high school. Longtime close friend Todd Desiato, founder and owner of Servers and Domains, first taught Patrick how to make guitars, and together designed and built several models.
Among others, Patrick was commissioned to create guitars for rock bands Vixen (EMI), Slik Toxic (Capitol), and Flyweil. His guitars have been seen at large special events such as heavy metal's Foundation Forum and Edward James Olmos' Latino Family Book Faire. Patrick has also been featured on radio and in newspapers.
Following his calling, he apprenticed as a custom door maker, became a journeyman, and then a master woodcrafter before the age of 30. Patrick’s eye for wood color, grain, strength, and uniqueness enables him to design one-of-a-kind products—guitars to fine furniture and doors—that are both fuctional and artistic at the same time.
