Body Shaping and Contouring:
The top half of the "Hatchett" is contoured on the face and back. The back is slightly tapered in thickness, from the top point to 11" into the back. Back body bevel down the length of the top edge and blending into the shaped heel of the neck. The face is tapered in thickness 1/4" from the top of the pickup and bridge to the top edge. The rest of the guitar has 1/4" round-over on the edge of the instrument.

Fret Action: The frets are leveled, crowned, and polished. Action off the 1st fret is E -- .008, E -- .012; action off the 24th fret is .094. Neck thickness at 1st fret is .82, and at the 15th fret is .92.
